It is my pleasure to say
some words of explanation concerning the annexed program of devotional
activities to share the rejoice and to ask your attention and sympathy.
The purpose of these programs
is to make alive and to live dearly beloved Sufi Ideals.
That are the ideals of
the heart and of the longing of the soul. For the seekers of truth and the
lovers of God it is sacred music that connects, alchemystical singing,
spiritual tuning, magical wording, inner practice, transforming dancing,
revelations of zikar, inspiring community, enlightened gathering, it is sharing
love and liberation by devotion.
To experience the
connection and inspiration of the Masters and Lovers of God, and be on our way
to fulfillment with all that really answers our own being and our own
searching.
The Sufi Ideals of our
Master Hazrat Inayat Khan are not exclusive and can not be limited by names and
forms nor can they be claimed somehow. The all-embracing and all-creative and
effecting love pours in and of out the hearts of the devotees, the seekers an
beggars and let blow the spirit of guidance to whatever purpose that spirit is
willing to use us.
These Sufi Ideals will
inspire us to open the real devotion and the real humanity of all believes and
of all institutes. They are the joy of the true believers and the consolation
of the sincere unbelievers. They are the illuminated examples for the mankind.
We are only the humble
disciples and servants of God the All-Mighty and All-Beloved.
Your special attention
is asked for the meetings in Turkey. Together with our Sufi friends we can
experience a very special opening and realization of an inner alliance of
Sufis.
You are all hearty
welcome to come there or to sympathize and be rejoiced as well.
To may open in Gökçedere
an Ilim Merkezi, an Universal Center of Wisdom, where all religions are
welcomed and are respected. To experience in Konya the spiritual union and
sacred opening of Shems and Rumi for the spiritual wellbeing and growth of
mankind.
To rejoice with all
Sufi’s on the Path “ Praise be to Thee, Alhamdulillah”.
The wings under which we
meet in the Ilim Merkezi in Gökçedere will be:
To live with the Sufi Message
and the Blessing of Hazrat Inayat Khan;
the realisation of One Truth, One God and One Lovehood.
The subject of our words and deeds will be: Sufi Music and Sufi Poetry.
Music, the word we use in our everyday language, is nothing less
than the picture of our Beloved. It is because music is the picture of our
Beloved that we love music.
But the question is, what is our Beloved and where is our Beloved.

The lectures of Hazrat
Inayat Khan on these subjects will be read in English and Turkish in the
morning- and afternoon-program, or translated separately.
The program of the three
day-parts of the first week includes Sufi Prayer-practices, Elemental
Breathing-training, Sacred Moving, Walk and Dance, Devotional Heart-singing, Passionate
Zikars, Spiritual Music and Turning Opening Derwish-dance.
The Book of Sufi
Heartsinging and Devotion will be a practical guide-book for this.
All are welcome to the
devotional participation in his or her way of feeling and expressing and to be
home together in the Sufi Lovehood of the All-Beloved.
